Achievements in Empires at War
What are the achievements?
Achievements are for winning the game under certain conditions. Often those conditions require using special tactics. Often tactics start at the beginning, for example by choosing certain nation as your enemy.
Part of the achievements require using chief asset of the nation ("300 Spartans", "Domination in early ages"), others are historical ("Delenda Carthago", "Alexander the Macedonian"), others require change of tactics typical for nation("Legion revolt", "Greenpeace").
Most of the achievements are difficult, but possible to get. When you get all of them - you can call yourself The Master of Empires at War.
Achievement conditions:
Win the battle. Even if it is not explicitly stated in the achievement description, you have to defeat the enemy.
Example: In "Full treasury" you need to collect 10 000 gold in less than 16 minutes and win the battle. If you collect 10 000 gold in less than 16 minutes and lose the battle - you fail to get the achievement.
Play on proper difficulty level (it usually means: difficult enough). Each achievement has a defined minimal level of difficulty at which you compete with a computer opponent to get it. Every achievement has its minimal difficulty level.
For example: The following parameters represent parameters qualifying for minimal difficulty level "Medium":
- your base funds do not exceed 250$
- computer base funds at least 250$
- your income speed do not exceed 2$ / sec.
- computer income speed at least 3$ / sec.
So game with following parameters:
- base funds: 200$
- computer base funds: 300$
- player income speed: 1$ / sec.
- computer income speed: 3$ / sec.
is on difficulty level "Medium", but playing with following parameters:
- base funds: 300$
- computer base funds: 300$
- player income speed: 3$ / sec.
- computer income speed: 3$ / sec.
is on difficulty level "Easy" - player base funds and income speed are too high for "Medium" difficulty level.
Hint: To get some of the achievements it may be necessary to set the game parameters to higher-than-hard difficulty level.
Stick to the achievement requirements.
For example, playing as the Greeks, if you create any cavalry unit you will not get "300 Spartans" achievement. On the other hand, if you fully upgrade and expand the base, fill all the defensive slots with Arthemis' Archers, your base will be untouched and all of that achieved in less than 16 minutes - you are done. From now on you can sell Artemis' Archers, the base can suffer damage - you just need to win the battle to get "Arthemis' temple" achievement.
